Surfboards Hawaii Aquarius Series 7'10 Collector Surfboard

Vintage Surfboards Hawaii Aquarius Series mid-length.

Here’s a groovy board you don’t see often! This rare single fin Surfboard Hawaii Aquarius Series is packed with style and craftsmanship. Designed by Peter Johnson in San Diego, this bridges the gap between 60s longboards and the shortboards of the early 70s.

This speedster is noticeably lightweight with continuous tapered shape, smooth rails, rounded tail, and very low rocker. The top deck has fantastic psychedelics with the trippy “Aquarius Series” colorful graphic in excellent condition, and the board includes a beautiful vintage 10” translucent red fin.

Dimensions are approximately 7’10” x 21.5” x 2.5”

There are a few patch repairs which are visible in the pictures and some horizontal stress cracks on the belly. The nose, tail, rails, and all repairs are smooth.

Surfboards Hawaii was started in the early 1960′s by Dick Brewer and John Price. The best big-wave guys in Hawaii surfed Surfboards Hawaii boards such as Fred Van  Dyke and Buzzy Trent. Also adding to their legendary status were some of their shapers such as Dick Brewer and Ben Aipa. Some of the boards they were known to produce in the 1960′s included the Model A, The Buzzy Trent and the Stock model.
